How to use Mods

So, i've tried downloading Rusted Warfare Evolved, Aircrafts+, and similar mods, but they never work. I download them, move them to mods then units. Then i launch the game, but they don't show up. Am i doing something wrong? or are they just out of date?

ALSO, i would love some help on unit editing,

These mods are usually set as whole apk file, you can basicly have 2 RW`s: vanilla and modded)
